100 Series- Regeneration

When I moved back to the California coast this past April, after spending three years in the beautiful, yet hot, desert of Arizona, my soul was finally reunited with its first love ... the ocean.

Even though I made frequent trips back to visit family and the odd trip to somewhere like Hawai'i or Costa Rica, I found it hard to watch surfing videos like I used to because it ultimately made me sad. I missed not only the act of surfing but just being able to go down to the ocean when I felt stuck or in an undesirable head space.

Since I was a kid, the ocean was always an equalizer in my life. It always provided me with perspective and a sobering presence.

Despite still having outlets like running, hiking, and gardening (although limited in the desert summers), I felt a piece of me had become dormant. It may seem dramatic to some, but others know the feeling.

To celebrate this reunion with a vital part of my being, I have created the first-ever series of 100 originals to share with you.

Available to Subscribers August 30th and the general public August 31st.
